i pulled my bench seat out of my 94' and popped in set of power 40-20-40 seats out of a 97. the seats went in without a problem, just had to wire power, and drill 8 new holes in the floor board. took about 1.5 hrs from start to finish.- MTIDI

Where to buy a rebuilt IP for a turboed engine?
DPS is good stuff. i have their injectors on my turbo IDI. when my pump goes bad, i will be buying one from them. it is a little frustrating trying to get ahold of them. screw emailing them. they do not respond to any. at least to mine. call them and leave a message and call them again in a...- MTIDI

hypermax and timing
oh and another thing. my timing was retarded a few weeks ago. I had the truck timed to 8-8.5 deg and it my egts went down, by about 200 degress or so.- MTIDI

Where do I put my Spare Tire?
bolt it to the side of the flatbed? top of the cab would be the most out of the way. just rig something up to keep it solid on the headache rack, that way you don't have to drill or weld on to your roof.- MTIDI

just checked out another thing. (remember i am pretty new to these IDI's) pulled the CDR(?) hose off my intake, and the hose was streaming out smoke consistently. oh and some other possible info that might help. I took a 740 mile trip right after having my engine timed. everything was normal then. oddly enough, it seemed to start happening right after i put my seats in and hooked up power to them. so i unpluged power to them, but that did not change...- MTIDI
