I sent them a company check for $2900 June 18, the check cleared the bank but nearly a month later still no engine. No tracking or pro number, repeat calls requesting status or proof of shipping...no return cslls. Requested 2 more motors and got a call back in 10 mins! Ready to sell me 2 more...- mclarkva

It running nice enough now I'm questioning my decision to pull the motor ... Still smokes at times a little blue so another compression test ...and injectors are still suspect as a few random knocks come and go like intermittent leaky injectors...- mclarkva

Thanks! Yes I operated with the shaft clamp screw loose but didn't fiddle at all with the painted set screw at the plunger ... effectively removing it from the system. This is where I saw my IP continue to retard at higher rpm and began to think the IP was bad. I gave it a little Gap till...- mclarkva

I've seen these from Snap on MT480 luminosity 1.0˚ BTDC @ 700 rpm 2.0˚ ATDC @ 1400 rpm 3.5˚ ATDC @ 2000 rpm I was way advanced using the 78-0100 rotunda with 8.5 BTDC at 2000 ... No wonder it was smokey and could not move...started easy though!- mclarkva

Ok so I'm the idiot using pulse numbers with a luminosity probe! So the retard cam and the internal pump piston itself both retard as rpm increases? At what point should I set the face cam by rotation on its shaft? ...should I set idle timing 1.0 BTDC and then go back to 2000 rpm and adjust...- mclarkva
