    What's your favorite method for degreasing an IDI?

    My 97 has the 4x4 OffRoad decal on the bedsides. OffRoad package included skid plates under each fuel tank.

    Also, when my buddy installed the 38 gallon tank, he used longer bolts on the spare tire mount and still wound up with 14" of ground clearance with his F-350 single rear truck.

    At least from 88-97 tank sender diameter is the same. Older ones have smaller diameter hole in tank for sender. Diesel senders only have two wires, no fuel pump in tank.

    Try looking on ebay for the paper service manuals or possibly may have cd or dvd copies for cheap compared to the paper helms factory manuals.

    Long crank before oil pressure builds and truck fires.

    As a check for the pickup tube being cracked, back the truck up a ramp. That will submerge the entire pickup tube so it doesn't suck air. Then try starting.

    I forgot to add, my truck also has the Ranger heater bypass max A/C mod so I do have to have the heater on.
