These came with a 518 and you need a 23 spline input shaft on your NP203 T- case.- ldebrois

transfer case question
Is there an adapter to go from the 29 spline on the getrag to a 23 spline on the transfer case from an automatic?- ldebrois

Thanks anyways, and true about the tranny, but i think the T case is broken. so we'll see what happens.- ldebrois

I need all the conversion parts but it's a different body style so I don't think most of them will fit very well, I'm not THAT skilled of a mechanic. How bad would that be do you think?- ldebrois

Thanks for the reply, and yea I should be able just to grab the whole truck, I just found out for sure that it is a 12 valve. He wants $ 750 for the tranny and everything that goes with it, does that sound reasonable?- ldebrois

1997 tranny in a 1991?
I was wondering if a 5 speed manual Transmission from a 97 1 ton dually would bolt up to my 1991 3/4 ton. mine's got an automatic in it and I'm fed up with the problems I've been having so I want to do a conversion. Automatic Trany Flex plate
Ok, I ended up buying a aftermarket flexplate that is thicker but i havent been able to put it on yet. I will check if the dowels are there and thanks for the reply.- ldebrois

0-100 in.5 sec
I had problems with my speedo too. it is most likely the speed sensor on the rear driver side of the tranny if it is an automatic. I had to replace mine it was around $50 and easy to install.- ldebrois

Automatic Trany Flex plate
New member a few questions Flex plates I was wondering if any of you had an idea on what would cause my flex plate to keep sheering. I replaced it just a year ago when it sheered and it has done it again. Maybe by getting a thicker than stock plate that it might hold up better but i'm not too...- ldebrois
