I think you should wait because the glow plugs are 6v, when the engine is off you have 12v, that is the way they are supposed to work, but with the engine running you have 14.5v and I think that will burn the plugs out sooner.
I also don't believe the rpms are to much over governed speed. It sure dose not sound like it to me. Before I put the turbo on my truck it sounded a lot like that.

My question is could a guy recreate that by injecting oil down the intake, to have the power of a runaway, and still have it under control.
