    Sounds more like air intrusion than anything else. Next time you go to start it up after its been sitting, have somone else crank while you press on the schraeder valve(or vise-versa). If fuel doesn't instantly come spewing out, I would look at servicing your fuel lines, o-rings, change fuel...

    You may have bad injectors or a worn out IP. Hpwever, you may want to try checking tire PSI, running Diesel Kleen or some other injector cleaner, Replace fuel filter etc. Also try to keep the highway RPM's at 2k or below for best MPG

    If you have clicking while the WTS light is on. You prob have one or more bad glowplugs. First start of the day should glow for 15 sec or so, Bad GP's will decrease glow times to about 5seconds usually
