John-did you get a new turbo? They finally put a new one on my '04. I was getting a total loss of power when running WOT up a hill then it would kick in and go. Seems to have fixed the problem. It was no hassle and took one day. Ford knows all about the turbo issues and even sent me a check for...- gleninaz

Ford admits the 6.0 sucks..................
I have a 2004 6.0 4x4 that has 45k on it and it has been a great rig. I think most of the really nasty warranty work was on the first year engines and that a ton of owners ran out and started putting mods on like chips. I will never mod my truck as I can pass all the Dodge and Chevy boys without it.- gleninaz

Front receiver hitch?
They are finally making one to fit my '04 super duty so I ordered it and will have it on this week. I will have it wired with a plug for my winch. They do make them for your truck and they cost about $200 and bolt on. Call any 4x4 shop and they can give you info or look up Drawtite, Hidden Hitch...- gleninaz

What are your experiences?
7000 miles on my 04/04 and it is so far the best I have owned. 16mpg in city, 13 towing my boat and 18 highway. Very strong engine and tranny. Will do the 4x4 testing next week on my turkey hunt. I have had no problems at all.- gleninaz

How did I find the TDS site? I searched under diesel. I found this one from some malcontent listing the site on TDS. You have great battles and T&A so I keep coming back and I do check the Ford forum for any issues on my '04 F-250. I think you will build and I would consider spending money at...- gleninaz

Towing mpg
Just bought a 20 foot bass boat in Palm Springs and towed it home to Phoenix at 85-90 mph and got 12.5 mpg! Really impressed with my '04 F-250 SD.:)- gleninaz
