Cummins in 94 f250 possibilities?
I used the Dodge trans mainly to avoid the price of the adapter plates. It gave me a lot of freedom as well in locating the motor, which does not have to require firewall modification. Just going to throw this out, but the issue on the frame is where the oil filter is on the 351W. It is best to make some kind of attachment to hook the plates up to. LUK smf clutch
Being a manufacturing engineer, I will say that we do want to know when a product fails so we can be sure to not let it happen again. I have so far always had good results with luK clutches.- fellro86

It is best if you do not engage it under 45 mph. The oil pump in the unit is driven by driveshaft speed, so slower = less oil flow. The manual recommends not engaging until 45. Yes, that is the band adjustment. I would have to look up the procedure myself... The switch in the green circle could be a pressure switch or maybe temp, but I doubt temp, as it is in a pressure tap. There are a number of reasons why you would want a switch on a pressure tap.- fellro86

Usually hasn't been an issue, however I have had them jump and twist going down the interstate. Thankfully, it was during business hours for a local parts store and was bale to get the a/c belt on good enough to spin the water pump to drive on in the 20 miles to a parts store. 91 7.3 idi low miles, starting issues/ other ?'s
On the running out after 1/4 tank, there is a plastic cone that mounts to the bottom of the pickup tube. It is common for this to break off, then you can't draw fuel after the metal tube is no longer in the fuel, which is generally about 1/4 tank reading. Looking for ideas and suggestions with lack of power problem that came on
Got a fuel gauge plumbed in after the final filter, got it back together enough to fire it up for a little bit, and it reads about 5 psi, a bit of flutter, but right around 5 psi.- fellro86

It smokes black way easy, but runs smooth and clean at idle. It acts a lot like it is retarded for timing, and responded to cranking the pump advanced, but ran out of adjustment. I haven't put a fuel gauge on it to check pressure. It went from had to drag it home to at least drives, but could be possible. It didn't change anything to switch tanks either. The electric pump died, been hearing the Holleys can fail a seal and wipe out the motor, so I have a Carter to try...- fellro86
