Here is a picture of the front cover empty. Last but not least is the bearing that rides in the middle of everything. This is the latest design bearing (there have been a few others) Notice it has a flange on it to prevent it from coming out of place. Alan- Dirtyd0g

The little notches on the inside there retain a wear plate known as an "812 washer' seen here That wear plate rides against the plastic stator caps on the stator. the rear side of the stator is not much different. There is a one way roller clutch inside this unit. Here is a picture of...- Dirtyd0g
