Back in the day my '86 had a fsb that called for the removal of a 1" metal bumper on the back of the clutch pedal.
Fixed the long standing dragging clutch disengagement problem.
Just a stock '86 6.9 filter head. figuring it should be after filter for air purging.....
but you never know!
Thought I could get a good pressure/flow indication there.

My experience.......When swapping a factory turbo '94 7.3 into my '86 with the 6.9 stick shift flywheel it shook badly. Installed listed turbo flywheel shake gone and
running beautifully 12 years later. Engine also ran smooth with factory flex plate.
