I had previously installed a Conastoga Diesel Baby Moose (which has a turbo tune) and Moose Mister injectors, but yes as part of the playing with it I turned it up 1 1/2 flats and made lots of black smoke with little provocation so I turned it down to 3/4 turn and it still smokes under throttle.

I put a three core Champion in 9 years ago and have had zero issues until two weeks ago I was taking the fan off the clutch and the wrench hit the rad and busted a tube. Call Champion and $320 later and 4days shipped FedEx I had a new 3 core. Champion claims they are good to 800hp.
Hypermax Pulse is dyno designed around 7.3 IDI and they have crunched all the numbers and ship a complete system in three boxes. T4, intercooler and 3” exhaust.
Started the install this morning.
Getting a new 5th wheel camper and thinking of adding air spring to help level the load and improve handling. Any recommendations pro/con or personal experience.
