    Well,round 2 didnt go so well.2nd motor had a dead cylinder.was missing parts. Dropped an injector in it this morning.now hits on all 8. turbo seems weak.its not making any noise till you rev it to around 2000 in park.and even then it dont sound like what I'm used to a 6.0 sounding like,a hair...

    Ok so,this truck I'm putting a motor in is turning 8nto a hassle.first motor had a bad oil leak.customer found another motor but has the egr delete already done. Do I need him to get a programmer or something to run it? I'd hate to put it in and find out it wont run ir something.

    Well,it ran.i pulled it outside to let it run for a bit.turned it around and pulled back in cuz of an oil leak.shut it off. now it won't start.acts like it's not getting fuel or the hpo system us dry.according to scanner,1800ish psi hpo cranking over.no codes.

    As far as using the 03 sensor in the 04 location.i dont see how that would work as the 04 icp is sealed by and holds the rubber seal for the valve cover hole.the 03 is sealed with an oring.totaly different shaped sensors as well.

    I put it back in the 03 location.if it becomes an issue down the road I or another mechanic can stretch the wires and use the sensor in the head.

    03-04 did.04.5-up didnt.doesnt need it.they changed intake,up pipe, egr cooler in 04.5,turbo mounting, But supposedly everything will work.we will see tomorrow when I fire it up.

    After some extensive googling.supposedly all I need is the harness to the 04 motor,of course junkyard cut it. But in the case of not having the harness.i need to extend the icpc wires to reach the head sensor or use the 03 sensor in the 03 location.i opted for the 03 setup,let the dead icp in...

    Ok I have an 01 2500.that won't start.story I got is they put gas in it,it died,hasn't run since.its not pumping fuel.i can prime it,crank it,no start,no fuel out the valve. No fuel coming from the valve while cranking either. Google says the pump is bad.what years interchange???? I've got 6...
