What clutch kit to use with Lucky Mod?
O.K.. thanks everyone. I've found a couple of OEM replacement clutch sets available for around 190.00 with a center sprung disc. Just trying to keep the cost down by going with the modified DMF.- 87F250

I'm going to do a clutch job real soon and I'm going to do the Lucky Mod on the flywheel. So, can anyone tell me exactly which clutch kit to buy for use with the modified DMF? Like what size and does the clutch disc need to be for a SMF or a DMF? Any info from you guys that have done this is...- 87F250

Napa says that Balkamp part has been "obsoleted" and is no longer available. I figured the two places I should be able to find this sleeve would be IH or Napa, but it appears not to be, so far.- 87F250

Front crank seal sleeve availability?
I'm getting ready to replace the front crank seal on my 1990 7.3. I have the new seal but I'm having difficulty finding the "speedy sleeve". Does anyone have the part number for this sleeve? My International dealer and local Napa have been no help. Is it still available? I may not need one but...- 87F250

A tragic end to a nice truck
Yep, it is in a yard in Hayward. The man running the ad is the owners friend. This guy came with the owner when the truck was picked up from me. Apparently the owner also has a 95 F350 whose powerstroke died. He then swapped in a 7.3 idi with a Banks turbo. The friend said that he could not make...- 87F250

Sharp '73 conversion on ebay
That engine is the "Toro-Flow" V6 diesel that GMC had available in the sixties. It is the 478 cid V6 converted to diesel and it did not earn a very good reputation. Truck performance--manual transmission
Cool! Towcat is pimpin my truck on Oilburners again! I used this truck mainly for hauling my toys around the western U.S. From 2001 to 2004 with the Banks turbo'd 6.9, 2004 to present with the Cummins. It has been a good truck either way.- 87F250

Well if that is the dumbest thing you've ever heard, then you have'nt been around too much. Here in CA. all you need to do is file for non-operation if you're going to let the registration lapse. It's a small fee for this and you won't get hit with back fees if you ever want renew. Simple as...- 87F250

Big Ed gets a Face Lift,..
Yep, that looks like the Warn Enforcer. A great looking bumper. That thing is about a grand brand new and half of that is just for the mounting kit. It was too much for me so I went with the Warn Classic. About half the price.- 87F250

Bought the 86 f350, swap begins
Why don't you go take some measurements and see for yourself? But to me, this idea of swapping in the Dodge axle(s) is just added work, exspense. and complication to the intended goal.
