Last friday night I was heading to pick my girl up for a date when the worst happened. 1st gear, fine, 2nd gear, fine, 3rd gear, fine, 4th gear, start hearing a rattling sound from tranny, 5th gear, bad gear whine and rattling! By the time I got to her house 3rd was clattering pretty good too! Talk about timing!

Anyhow, I already got another rebuilt ZF to put in this weekend, just wanted to tell everyone about it. By the way, make dang sure your'e setting down when you call around for prices on a rebuilt ZF! ($1000 - 2400 depending on shop I called!)

Yeah it might have been cheaper, but I need my truck back ASAP to haul my drag car to the track and for a trip to San Antonio next weekend so..... they had one in stock rebuilt ready to go and well, I needed it!
