wont run right please help!!!!

Hello my friend has a 87 f150 w/ fuel injected 5.0 has new fuel pumps and injectors it will start up and idle good but when revved up to 1500 rpms it will die then will start right back up idle fine then when it hits 1500 it dies any help will be great need to have truck running by monday, Thank you.

Just a couple suggestions that won't cost a lot:

replace the fuel filter.

Make sure gas tank has plenty of fuel.

If you unhooked your oxygen sensors and this rig has two of them try switching the wires around to see if that clears it up.

check for fuel leaks where the injectors tie into the fuel rail.

This section doesn't seem to get much activity, so you may want to check the ford-trucks.com forum.

Check every sensor, make sure the EGR system is fine. Make sure the TPS is functioning and adjusted properly.

thanks for info, but I think he is fed up with it and is pulling everything out and changing the engine and going to carb.

dont know he yanked it and traded it for a 351w dropped that in and it runs so

well those 351s are good engines for being small block!!! drove a few in my day....
