if you took the trans as well, then ran a divorced 205, be pretty simple, welding fabbing mounts, its a 3 wire motor like a 6.9/7.3...
Heard a rumor (read it here?) all IH v-8's have a SAE2 pattern,
IF a 360 is SAE 2, and
IF the IH pattern the adapter plate on a 6.9 bolts to is SAE 2, well, you have your trans solution.
I would run the Allison (assumption, common trans choice) behind the DT alacarte, unless it were junk.
