Which Facet pump...

Do you guys run? I found one today in a huge lot of guages and tools that I bought from an auto shop that closed up, but there were a lot of airplane and other parts in the lot. It has 2 wires, and its about 2" tall and long, about 1" wide with what looks like 2 AN fittings on it.

It looks like the 40108 about 1/2 page down.

BTW when I hooked it up it vibrated. I didn't fuel test it, but it was loud and something was doing something.

I believe the Facet pump you should have went with is the 40222.

What's the difference between the 22 and 23?

I did some searching and it looks like the 40222 and 40223 are identical except the 40223 has the "Loom Connector Block". Isn't that just the wiring harness connector?

Oh yea the 40222 is $5.00-$6.00 cheaper!

i just remember the number from a thread that was posted here about it. Its the same number i ordered for my first pump.

i dunno where you are looking online, but so far the best price i found was from a member on here for 78 shipped. Look for Genlightning.

I was looking at a marine site which listed the 40222 at $94.95. And the 40223 for $99.99. That's without shipping.

So $78.00 shipped is a much better deal.

yup. i pmed him about it and was gonna paypal him but i need to pop a set of injectors in my motor first. My fuel economy is crap.

What the difference between a gasoline pump and diesel. I see people using holley pumps... Can I use the one I got for practically nothing? Will it last?

I had issues with the holley and mr gasket pump that looks like a holley knockoff. so far the best pump ive had is the carrier pump but i knocked the bowl off of it. so i'm running a mechanical pump till i get a replacement.
