What's the best way to post video

I have a new video camera, and wanted to post a cold start, and maybe a few other videos, but when I try to attach the video to the post like I do pictures, it tells me I have invalid security certificates.
So how should I post a video, without making a Youtube account, which I really have no interest in doing.
