what size of stack sounds best,4,5,6?

i fixin to pull a set of stacks off of a detroit diesel they are 4 inch stacks, but i was curies of what would sound the best lol. and i am gonna run no mufflers lol which i have been running just 2 strait pipes under cab lol. but id appreciate any information i cn get thankyou

I ran a straight piped 460 through 5" stacks and it sounded awesome.

If you click on my youtube link below I've got videos of mine which is 4" muffler with a 5" tip. Not stack(s) but it does correlate some to how deep it sounds.

There are also quite a few other videos on youtube that can help give you an idea.

I-H freaks truck is non turbo it has daul 2 1/2 inch straight pipes right now that are right under the cab and it sounds wicked

run around with the exhaust unhoocked under the cab and see how you like it, i love the sound, some people hate it, its just everyones opinion
