What is this on my precups?

I got arp head studs and CDD think head gaskets and I see this white stuff all over the head when I get it off. Can anyone inform me what it is?? I'm thinking heat?? Some how? It had much more but it's flaked off some.

Is it white or silver? In the photo it looks like stuck on head gasket material.

You have white, powdery looking deposits on some valves and the portion of the cup that's inside the combustion chamber. No clue, I've never seen that before.

I have, it's usually the addetives in the fuel leaving deposits. See it on natural gas heads all the time.
There is no easy way to get it off. Use a medium coarse wire wheel and go to town.
In my opinion only clean the head gasket mating area, and fire ring. Don't mess with the valves or you'll get a leaker.

I was thinking about getting the comp 910-16 springs I haven't decide yet tho. Will that change your opinion about not wire wheeling it??
