Took the truck on vacation. Ran hot again. Do not know why. did a lot of work trying to cool it down. No luck.
1100 miles from home... The truck blew the trans again....
ARGHHHHH:puke: :puke: :puke:

Now, I am the owner of a 04 truck. the 90 is in Moab Utah with a blown trans.

I plan on getting it in a couple of months. so do I fix it and sell it, or part it out, or sell it like it is?

Love the truck, but the 04 is the truck of the future for me.

Lots of $$ wrapped up in the 90 and would like to get back as much as possible.

thanks
Doug

Thats a tough call. Sorry to hear about your bad luck with it and all, but I want the front axle, springs, crossmember, trac-bar, and steering if you part it out! Its always easier to sell a complete running vehicle, so if time or storage space is an issue, I'd put another trans in it and sell it quick. If you have the time to pull and ship parts, and store the vehicle as it is disassembled, and then dispose of the parts that don't sell, then part it out.

What kind of 04 truck did you get to replace it?

Sorry to hear this, the 04 look sharp You are right, anyway if it where Me I would not sell it but then again is one more truck that wont be used so it is better to just sell the hole truck with a working transmission.
