Hey I’m looking to redo the weather stripping on my 85 CC, does anyone know where to get the window felts and runs for the rear doors? I can find them for the fronts, but the backs not so much.

I’ve also read where people run vinyl tubing up the existing weather stripping. 1/4” O.D. I believe is the best size.

I was actually going to try this. Need to figure best lube....soap/water.....or

Do you have the fronts, yet..? I bought inside and outside window felts for mine and later figured that my door panels are 87's...so...I have the fronts for 80-86 and can not return them.

Uh...I have not checked if my reg cab felts will work on a crew cab...come to think of it...I'll check rock auto..

Just checked...best I can figure...looks to be the same.

Rears are different, fronts are shorter to make way for the wing window.

Yes, the window wipe,s are longer for 80 - 86, then shorter for 87 +
because they chopped off the corner of the Wind Wing. Also moved the verticle post back some.
The door glass is also narrower on 87 +.
This is front doors.

Here is Bronco Grave Yard, they have some for the rear doors.

I bought the Door Seals for the 86, and I could not get the doors to compress the seals.
I was at PNP and pulled a set off a 04 Door and a Half truck. were in ok condition. Washed them up good, found center on them, started at the top of the door opening and worked my way around.
They are longer, over lap them, and cut off the ends.
That part is messed up anyway where people were getting in and out.
For the most part, worked pretty good.

Then I ordered 2 new one`s for a 04, But the newer one`s, instead of the seal being open, they added a center wall to stiffen them up. Now the Pass door stick out some, Drivers door has the old one. and closes ok?

That`s my story, all I know. :dunno

It can’t be the same because the rear doors on an 87+ doesn’t have the stationary window in the rear.

Goat that’s for an 87-97. The 80-86 rear doors had different style windows.
You can see how my green truck has 2 rear windows. One is stationary and the other goes up and down. On the new body style 87-97 they don’t have the rear stationary window, so the window that rolls up and down is going to be bigger.

I have seen lots of 4 door trucks, never notice
whether one or two window on the rear doors.
Learned something new.

Just did some Googling, and guess you are right,
none to be found.

Maybe if you come across a 87 - 97 CC in the yards,
pull the glass and hardware and change your 85.

Thought I found them on LMC, shows them in the
drawings of the door parts. But scrolling down to the
item #, been deleted.

Did the E-bay search, and none to be found there either.

There is a old Ford Dealership out in the Boonie`s some
where, and on a dusty old shelf, there is a set that got
pushed back in the corner, and over looked.

I was searching by the part #, for a NOS OEM IDI Lift pump.
Found 2, one dealer in Florida, and one in Main.
I know one of those pumps had been sitting a long time
by the looks of the Box.

Iam wondering if you do a Google search by using the part #
if something will show up.

Here's another opportunity to not make money by developing a mold and process to make this obscure item and sell it to the 6 people in the world that would buy it.

I would just swap the rear doors for the newer style all together, but for some reason I think the obs doors don’t line up right in the bullnose frame.

After the Bull Nose, it was the Brick Nose.
Didn`t OBS start in 92 and on?

The Brick is the same sheet metal as the Bull.
I did read something about a line in the sheet
metal that was off a bit, say swapping a 97 bed
onto a Bull. probably not a nickle`s worth of
difference.

Now if you want to enter your pride and joy in the....

It might make a difference.
