I pulled the injectors and glow plugs, cleaned them up and scraped around with a small screwdriver inside the holes. The truck seems to start a little faster but still takes a little cranking.
I've heard that water injection get's rid of coking. I was thinking of taking a spray bottle and misting some water into the intake manifold to help get rid of the coking. Is this a horrible idea that would damage my motor?
Thanks

anybody have any thoughts on this? I'm not sure how much water is injected with a water injection system, so I don't want to mist too much into the manifold.

Don't think standing there with a spray bottle is going to do much good. You need to build a water injection system, and use it under heavy load.

I think the best thing to do would be to hook up to a trailer, find yourself a grade (well if your area has them), go up it WOT at the governered rpm's, get your EGT's real high, and then hit the water injection. I think it would work well ;Sweet
