just got done with head gaskets , new studs, rebuilt oil cooler, and added turbo, new injectors, new ip. got it started and runs good and idles good for not timing it yet. checked the oil after i ran it a little bit and i now have antifreeze in the oil and oil in the radiator.
i pressurized the cooling system and it is leaking down. how can i tell if it is the cooler or head gaskets ?

Likely the oil cooler. Head gasket failure can mix the two, but it tends to cause other symptoms like poor running, a miss, pressurize the cooling system. The mixing of oil and coolant in a good running IDI is likely the oil cooler.

Did it go together without needed to press the heads on with a jack or hammer? If you couldn't just push the heads on the core with your hands/body weight alone, one or more of the o-rings may have been damaged/cut.

no i could not just push them on by hand i used a press.

that is what i was leaning towards also since the heads went on easily.
