WANTED: Oil Dipstick

So my dipstick was feeling a little flimsy and although I was trying to be careful I snapped it trying to put it back in after checking the oil.
Does anyone have a spare that is willing to sell? It's for a 1988 7.3 IDI.
Figure 10 bucks plus shipping?

i think there are a few different lengths

I believe all the pickup 7.3 sticks are the same length. Surely the vans are much longer. Don't really know about the 6.9 because they used a differant type fit in the block. I think the 7.3 block fitting is the way to go. The collar is driven into the block. Then an o-ring is fitted on the tube and that hopefully slides into that fitting without rolling off or cutting. I just smear some rtv on the tube and slip it in. Never have had a leaker doing that...

Yep, used van dipsticks as hard to find as other IDI van parts. Ended up forking out like $40 to da Stealer......
