Walker BTM

OK... Just recently learned about the Walker BTM. Been reading lots of good stuf on it, but seems to be only on the 7.3's What's the scoop on the 6.0's? Good or no good?

For about $60 and some time it looks like something I might think about if it has a similar effect on the 6.0 as it seems to have on the 7.3's

Works great on my 05 6.0 Ex....
Not too loud inside or outside,
but definetly has a rumble to it...

and the price was RIGHT

nice flow thru muffler which looked very similar to the mufller that came with my turbo back system I put on the 03 Ex....

Best thing about it is the egt reduction and if you DON'T like the results, you're not out much if you decide to do something else...

You have gauges? What was the temp diffe you saw if you do?

If you have an 03 6.0, it's worth it to go ahead and replace the crunched up POS downpipe and the restrictive muffler with a turbo-back system.
I believe the downpipes are much improved from 04 on, so a BTM is worth a try.

I have an 04. I'll have to take a look at the downpipe. Like I said, it looks to be around $60 and some time so it might be worth it.

No gauges - the egt's reductions (of 150 to 200 degrees) are documented by the bud's that suggested the WALKER BTM to me....

CHPMustang was one of the culprits....

Agree about the 03 downpipe - I couldn't believe what my dp looked like when I pulled it out to put the turbo back in.....

caught my eye a while back and meant to comment...

back in the old days -
mainframe Systems Prog...
did all the ***bols
3gl's, 4gl's, etc...
then all the pc based stuff...
even setup up ancient Novell networks !!!!
so ya know how old I am
now all Lotus Notes development group

They maybe old, but they work. I have yet to have a Windoze server stay up for over 1,000 days like I have had several Netware servers do
