Anyway... I went and looked at the '06s in person today. The biggest issue I had turns out to be a non-issue since I'm not buying a Laramie. That painted foglight section of the front bumper was NOT exciting... turns out the SLT bumpers are all chrome--just fine. The headlights... I'm getting used to them.
As far as the dash... in person revealed some things that the sales brochure doesn't. The dash is fine when viewed in person--everything's closed off fairly well as far as the instrument cluster goes. The woodgrain trim on the '06s is a nice touch.
Gonna go sit in one on Saturday.
