Did some searching on craigslist and found three trucks

-1985 F250 6.9 4x4 reg cab 4spd. has a little rust, custom interior, broken front passanger side drive axle. Driven everyday-$2000

-1991 F350 7.3 4x4 CC automatic. new rebuild heads, less than 500 miles on rebuild-$2000

-1994 F250 turbo 7.3 4x4 reg cab automatic. rough body, supposedly in mechanical shape. -$1500

The CC is not to far from me and thats what I really want. I belive it also has a recent head job and.

i'm really considering that 94 idi turbo now. it seems like the less work out of what i'm looking at. the 1991 is sold so that is outta the picture

I noticed today that the 91 was gone. Your truck looks ok. The rust is pretty bad. Looks like it sat for a while. Whats up with the wires under the dash?

*** chevy floor mats? Whats up with the starting fluid? I allways thought if u need that then something is wrong. These trucks should start without. Thats the way I went with mine.

it came from iowa so that's why its like it is. The wires are for the controls to the plow, they were mounted to the shifter but i took it off becuz they need to be mounted better if someone were to use it for that.

On the 1991, it turns out the ky posting was from a guy that stole the truck. I just text the actual owner, it's still for sale

somebody on here suggested using it to try and see if it would start but didn't. only sprayed once, will go with truck for free

Ok. I will see what happens. I just statred a new job. So it would be like two months before I have enough to buy something. How are the injector caps and seals? Any fuel leaking? Why wont it start?

once a chevy guy, always a chevy guy, just can't stand the 6.2/6.5's

was told by a diesel mechanic the fuel pump is bad. the caps and all that are fine. Only leaks fuel from the rear tank, has a new front tank.

Oh thats right. Bad lift pump. Why not tach? Thats odd. I was around the 6.2 and 6.5 for a while in the Army and never really liked them.
