Cleaning up my garage, I found a set of aftermarket tow hooks I would like to throw on my truck. Where have you guys mounted them? I looked, but cannot seem to find many places that are good, solid mounts.

Thanks,

Nick

I would tie the front frame rails together at the least, so under load the frame doesnt get tweaked. Better yet is to try n make a front reciever hitch for any recovery.

I have a set of stuper duty hooks i wanna mount up so ill be following this thread.

I def wouldnt pull from a leaf spring but that is just me. I would prob tie the frame together and run a reciever tube through the center of the bumper. could serve multiple purposes

Mines on the drivers side leaf spring, used it alot to. I know not the best place, but it's the best place without drilling any holes....

Like with a tow rope? what do you mean by receiver tube?

I remember asking this question a while back and most people said" grab a leaf".....maybe I don't remember right.
