Tire question....

I have a set of 305/70/17s to put on an 06 Mega Cab. Asked the local dealer if they would reflash the ABS to read the new larger tire size. The service writer said thay they can only go as high as the stock size and no larger.

Is it that they can't or won't do it? The guy was kind of a **** about ittoo.

Hm... With 35s and nothing done to the ABS mine worked like a champ. Was thinking it compared speed between other wheels but unsure.

Not sure there, but up here the dealers have never refused anyone I know that has asked to have it done. I would approach another dealer.
