its a little dirty but really not that bad. Here is a pic of mine. I checked it when i first got my 94 and wow, i think i gained a few horses

mine had cat food and a rats nest in it when i got it so things could be worse. i have seen much worse and more half assed stuff on trucks like a sock wire tied over the intake of a ranger haha

No, dont live near a coal mine. I have all the receipts from the PO and not a one in their for an airfilter purchase. The PO had the truck for about 90,000 miles so it probably has that and then some on it.

I had a vw 1.6 once that was running away on me and the air filter was dripping with oil from excessive blowby!!! And that car still ran!!! Once I realized how plugged the filter was I ran without it to get me home. I was on a long trip when this happened.
