I will definately post the progress, but I'm not going to start the swap till the weather warms up, plus I'm going to by everything I need first, that way I can get it done quicker as the truck is my daily driver.

ah 10/4... guess i may get a head start on you then.. i am in FL and we been hitting the 80s already so weather is no hold up here, aside the damn rain.. i am actually planning on pulling my engine hopefully in the next 3-4 weeks.. selling some of its parts will hopefully get me going on the cheaper stuff i will need... i see you have junior moose and bb injectors, i have baby moose and bb injectors both less than 3k miles on them.. am hoping i can make a little of my money back on reselling them..

Although trackspeeder, if you decide to go another route with your 90, you could sell me that ve motor, haha wishful thinking

$1500 is good for a P Pump engine. What is your HP goal. People buy the P pumps for easy power. ;burnout

I went with a VE pump to keep me from building something crazy for power.:rotflmao Plus the price was right. :D I'm hoping to dig into the mighty CumminGs this summer. Still putting the budget and parts list together.;Sweet

I am selling my pump and injectors to a friend, mine have about 8k on them. And trackspeeder at first I'm just going to put the motor in at stock power, but eventually I want to see 700hp. But by then I'll have an nv4500 and plan on having the p-pump done by Mel at conestoga. But that's a ways away especially since my overtime just got cut.

700 HP is the reason I went with a VE pump. It will keep at 350 HP for now.:rotflmao

I plan on having the rocker pedestals milled for headstuds, headstuds put in , 60 lbs over valvesprings and have the head o-ringed before it goes in my truck. Then whenever I have extra money gear and there I'll add parts. I want the thing to burn very clean when I'm done though. Oh and one of my friends who has a first gen dynoed it at 300hp and 650 ft lbs there about. Here's a link to the video if it works.. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=96DBeE71xUY

you got bigger plans than i do, 350-400 is max for me.. i just want pull pwr, my truck is rarely driven and when it is, it usually has about 11k lbs of play truck and gooseneck behind it... i just want to get around town better, and be able to haul at highway speed 65-70mph w/o watching the temps creep up.. right now with that weight if i exceed 60mph i can watch the water temp climb...
Also if you don't mind me asking how much are you asking at the "friend price" for your pump and injectors you are selling your buddy? i am trying to think of a reasonable price to ask for mine.. i know i paid way more than i will get but don't want to loose anymore than i have to...

Well the pump, injectors, an h1c turbo, and all the oil lines for the turbo for 500. And with the power out of the cummins that's just a long term goal. I'll be happy with whatever it gets for a while. But it's the diesel life I guess, spending money you don't have, on parts you don't need, to beat people you don't know haha

What flywheel will you folks be running?Does the breadtruck flywheel accept a large enough clutch for the zf? Or will you use the f600 style flywheel?

I would not use any bread van 4bt adapters on a 6bt. If you want to keep your rig in 1 piece

On diesel conversion specialists site there is a custom southbend made flywheel for $400 that will accept any zf5 13" clutch for a powerstroke, I'm either going with that or going to get a stock cummins flywheel and re-drill it to fit a powerstroke clutch
