I recall Mel has a trans splitter ahead of his trans in the Moose Truck. does anyone know the name of this high low splitter?

Only thing I've ever heard of is a ranger overdrive you can put before the transmission in 4 speed Ford's and Chevys. Was it like this?

Yes... That was the name of the unit I wanted. A club member in the Auburn Cord Duesenberg group wants to install a Gear Vendors in his Auburn.

I've always wanted one of those Ranger OD boxes. Shame you can't put one in front of a ZF5. Double OD would be great when running around empty.

Buddy of mine has one between his 4BT and 4-speed on his '61 GMC. Has worked well for him.

Mel and his truck....... it's a Gear Vendor unit.;Poke
