Late to the party on this but I have a 25 gal aluminum tank mounted beneath my toolbox. It has a ball valve with a line that goes directly to the front tank. I used a double hose barb connector, drilled a hole in the tank, and put JB Weld where the fitting met the tank. I know my tank leaks at the far top of the sender so this was an experiment I was happy to try and if I had to replace the tank, so be it. No pump, just gravity feed, and it's lasted about 8 months without any leaks or problems. Works great and now I have 50% more range.

So in case on one mentioned this' factor in the added weight for braking power!
I ran a early obs stroke with a 125 gal for filling equipment in the field, fill it go fuel rig and proceed, once it was not emptied, left full at quittin time 'and the drive home was fun( up in the mountains headed to the valley) do the math.

Decent shape? What's it made out of? Could be a great deal if it's in acceptable shape.
