Finally got the project running and am left with two issues.
The tach is acting odd. I replaced the sender (it needed it) because it didn't work. Now when I pull on the headlights (or just parking lights) it dives. Like from 1500 RPM down to 400 RPM. In addition, an alternator check shows power but it climbs slowly. Not running, I'm reading 12.56. Running, it slowly moves up to 13.12. By slowly, I mean a few minutes. Replaced alt, replaced regulator, no difference. It doesn't do it with the heater or wipers.
Issue two. The engine runs smooth, then rough, then smooth again at idle. I drove it for 5 or 6 miles thinking it was air but it won't clear up. No smoke out the pipe. Bled the filter valve a million times to no avail.
New injectors maybe?
Any thoughts are appreciated...
