What is the large bolt on the opposite side of the fill/drain plugs for? My friend accidently unscrewed it and pulled it out of the transmission. 
It has some kind of snap ring on the end and I think it holds some of the internals together. I put it back in, and now All seems fine, although with the transmission in nuetral, when I spin the input shaft, the output shaft turns in the opposite direction. When I put the transmission in gear, I cant spin either shaft freely. Did my idiot friend screw stuff all up? I hope not, as I am getting ready to put the transmission in right now.
