Well the engine fits fine, the question is wiring and that extra A/C sensor.

Are all the plugs the same? And can just be extended and plugged in?
Except for the two glow plug wires that are upgraded to a more direct power wire and can/need to be cut off.

What is the extra sensor on the A/C hose for on a 93? Up to 92 that sensor isn't there, does it need to be hooked up when put into a 89?

The truck is an 89 F-350,CC, 4x4
new engine is a used stock 7.3 turbo from a 93, think a 2wd F-250.

Thanks
James

Yes, all the plugs are the same....one thing I noticed when I swapped a 92 engine into my truck a few months back is that the engine harness itself is different. The 92 harness plugged in on the driver side while the original plugged in on the passenger.

Also, the alternator plug is NOT the same.....I redid my alt charge cable and spliced in a different plug.
