What tires would you recommend for my 99 7.3 4x4. I'd like to step up to a 33 in tire or maybe even a 35. I want an AT tire. Stickin with my stock rims. I want good tread wear of course and good mud and snow traction.

I liked the Yokohamas I had on my 95. If they made them in 20's I'd put them on my 06.

Bleednblue - I paid $175/tire for those Coopers in the stock size. I don't have many miles on them yet to see how they are wearing, but the traction is great.

I just put Hercules "terra-trac" tires on my early 99 PSD. They have a semi-aggresive tread and are really quiet on the road. I have 265/75/16 tires that are 31.9" tall. I almost went with the 285/75/16s to get that extra inch of height but decided to keep the speedometer true and go with the stock 265s.

Best tire I ever ran was a 33" Super Swamper Trxus M/T. Quiet and smooth on the road, great traction in all conditions and i got 40,000 miles out of them. Only reason I don't run them now is they don't make them big enough.

I ran Trxus on my old dodge 1 ton, they were nice and quiet for 37s but werent aggressive enough for what I was doing. I have ran the Nankang Mudstar 889s for awhile for the price they are pretty aggressive. Also the Nexen M/T or ATII is not to bad for traction but still quiet and not killing your gas mileage. I paid round $500-600 shipped on a set of 35s

I'm a big fan of the Nitto Terra Grappler's Come in load range E in a bunch of sizes. I tow the fiver a fair bit & even with the extra weight they wore great. Had (and still have) them on stock rims & I think they look pretty sharp.
