Check out some of the stainless steel barrel heaters from eBay. The guy that sells them is N2surplusinc. They're like $15 or less and they have a wide variety of volts and watts. Just wire them to lamp cord and go at it.

Brad - what farm store had the second heater you posted?

Actually just grabbed those pics for reference, but in March I bought just like that from a Bomgaars store.
Think those stores are just around the NW Iowa, SE South Dakota area.
But I'd bet other stores like that would have them.
Mine is thermostatic, won't heat unless water or liquid is colder then 40-50 degrees it will not come on.
