Howdy Y'all.
Well,this is a new one.
I left for work the other day.Tooled down the road to the first intersection.Went to
turn on the turn sig.....nothing.Hmmmm.
Get to the job site,check tail lights,check,hazard lights,check.Turn sigs,check!
They worked fine the rest of the day.
Did the same thing this morning. After
driving a while they work fine.
Sometimes when I turn on the defroster
after starting,it won't work for a few minutes.:dunno
Anybody have this happen to them?
Thanks

Check to make sure the ignition switch is fully in the run position after starting. If that is the problem, the switch may need adjustment or replacement.
Ford did a huge recall on ignition switches for these trucks years ago.

Update:
What I discovered this morning was the ignition switch would be turned too far forward.
In other words, after engaging the starter, the switch would not spring back to the"on"position.
I will have to investigate if its the electrical switch or mechanical switch.
Thanks for the input.
