Steering box!?

Ok so i chamged my steerIng box due to breakage.
Luckily thos happend im my front yard when going to park amd mot down the highway or the bumoy curvy rd along the levee. But, the shaft tgat comes out of the steering box and connects to my pitman broke clean off. Yes an is it broke at the base and left my pitman hanging. So everyone please check theres so this doesmt happen while one of yall are drivin.

yep same thing happened on my 95 truck ,got stuck in the drive way 2 feet of mud ,almost got threw it then snap lost the steering pitman arm hanging down with the nut still on ...i belive it happened due to the stress of the oversize tires in the ruts and i may have struck a rock under the mud ,..the 93 and earlier box shafts are stronger ,,,

Mines a 92' but i can tell its been broke
Plus i got big tires but everyone should check lol
