Speed control broken?

I was using the speed control the other day, hit the brakes turning it off, then pressed resume and nothing happened. It hasnt done anything since then. checked fuses. any ideas?

Did you try turning it off and then back on? Check your vacuum lines....There's one that runs to the switch mounted for the brake pedal.

Ill check the lines. Ive turned it on and off several times since then over the past several days.

Well I fixed it. It was the clip that connects the end of the speed control cable to the actual throtle cable. it had come lose. All i had to do was clip it back in
