After working on the generator install all day, I decided to take a break and use up some leftover diamond-plate I had. Made myself an air dam for my bumper. Hopefully that helps get some of the air through the bumper up to the radiator.

By the way, Goose, that tractor sounds like a monster! Bookite03, looks like the two of you did some nice work. Good luck on the winch search.

In between torrential downpours I began the battle to regain control of the '90 from the black widows...

I hadn't driven it for about 3 months, which is all it takes for the rampant nature down here to take over a vehicle.
Technically, they're brown widows, which are an invasive species that has been displacing black ones for the past few decades. They have stronger poison but are less dangerous due to their smaller fangs...or so Wikipedia would have me believe.

Did I mention it's for sale? Perfect truck for an arachnophile!!

Also: finished the 3G alt upgrade and did a lot of cleaning...

After going round and round trying to decide buying a new Detroit True Trac or and Auburn or find a factory Sterling Trac Loc I pulled the trigger today and hauled home a 1994 4.10 Sterling 10.25 Trac Loc, was going to just take the chunk but ended up getting the whole thing, figured it might be easier to just roll the whole thing in as it sits. Drained the oil and it was not burnt nor was their any graphite or dark clutch powder. The donor showed 190k miles, a little wet around the pinion seal nothing too bad. So it was a good day for my IDI, except getting passed by a cement truck rolling down I5, how embarrasing...lol. I can't imagine what Ford was thinking using a C6 with 4.10's on an engine that is pretty wound out at 2800 rpm's. I guess it's time to hunt down a Gear Vendor. My first 100 miles hi-way cruise, can't say my fuel mileage has been much to brag about. 2x I guess it's time to hunt down a Gear Vendor.

Let's see;
- filled up the 33 Gallon rear tank for the first time in a year
- installed the 18 gallon propane tank(Read 100#) and THEN filled it
- Made a cover for said propane tank
- wired in the generator power outlet box
- rotated tires
- changed the track bar and bracket
- changed the oil and filter
- Ordered spare belt, fuel filter, and tensioner for trip

So... The TRUCK is ready to roll, we'll see what I can do to the trailer tonight.

P.S. If you change your track bar bracket, it will change your alignment. Damn steering wheel is crooked now. :(

went on a 6 hour trip this last weekend to pick up a parts car for my daughter's car project.
other than being annoyed by a constantly bouncing around car dolly, the Nostromo didn't even notice the dolly or the Honda tagging along behind her.;Sweet

Helped a 67 year old friend of my wife's move out of her under informed but know it all coke Addict and overall guy I'd love to beat the **** outta's rental suite. Once the cops forced him to let us in so we could get her stuff out course. Even had a golden chance to drive over the car he blocked my truck in with. <grumble grumble> at least she will never have to go back there again.

Two loads around an engine hoist and dead motor I'm also hauling away.

Some pics!
