My TC just went out. Good thing I'm close to home. Guess I need to limp it to the shop and dig in. Napa said $150-$350 depending on size. Good thing I just spent $600 this week on vacation!!

Found a few on flea bay. Never used it but haven't heard good things. Going a fee triple disc low stalls and one monster for a fair price

Nope, I meant the 6.0 torque converter in an E4od. It's not direct but it is do-able. There are a few guys and at least one vendor over on PSN that know how to do it. I know nothing about it, just that I've read it multiple times on PSN that you can do it. The source those guys give is John Woods transmissions, and the vendor's username is OBSWIZ.

The TC on a 6.0 is a six (6) bolt, the TC on a E4OD is a Four (4) bolt. The flex plate would have to be changed.

I've got a 4 bolt TC out of a F450 for $65 ifm you want it. You'll have to drive over to Delphos for it. PM me.

97 is a six stud converter. John Woods is the vendor that mods the 6. oh converter for the 4R and E4 trannys.

That's for the IDI E4od torque converter. PSD E4od TC is a 6 bolt.

Replaced rear u joint problem solved!

Time to replace the u joints in the front end. Pass side it shot. Might as well do em all. And carrier bearing.
