Removing Ats turbo from 6.9

Well my 86 in the sig is the truck that's up in East Texas. It's N/A drove great for about 15 miles than it tried to send me into the Ditch.

And this 86 that I'm messing around with is going to a friend after I put it back to N/A.

My truck in the Sig will never see a Turbo. I love the simplicity of a N/A diesel.

I think Mel is wanting ats turbos so he can rebuild and sell with a wicked wheel. Might be wrong about that Tho.

It put up a Fight that's for sure. I think I could pull one in a day now.

Same with the Brakes I did on my 86 I had never done brakes before now I could do them in a couple of hours.

Yes. Should be pipe threads. 1/8" or 1/4" I believe.

Anyone one know the Part # or what the parts called might get it from ford

Any hardware store worth it's salt should have it. Just regular pipe threads. Nothing special needed

Good luck finding a part # for that. Go to your local Lowes home improvement store and look in their specialty nuts and bolts section. They do have them.

for 9 dollars, any auto store that carries spectra will have a variety pack
1/8" to 1/2" NPT.
look in the performance isle.
one of them is bound to work.
or take your old one in and match it up.
make sure you RTV or teflon it back in to keep it from leaking.
