The guy I bought my 97 E350 (7.3PSD, E40D) from removed the auto start in my driveway the other night - now it won't start....won't even crank and the "wait to start" light is not coming on....I called him and told him to get his ass over here and fix it as it ran fine until he touched it....-cuss ....Anything simple I could look at to get it running again??....I'm not too familiar with remote starters, we don't use them on Freightshakers....LOL

He most likely left something disconnected.....I'd start looking at the wiring where it was hooked up. :dunno Ignition switch... starter solenoid...Just guessing here

Hope he didn't fry the PCM monkeying around with it.

I got it running, not sure what it was but after supper I tried it again and it fired right up......Wierd....Must be a dirty/loose cable or something like that. This thing was sitting for quite a while before I got it.

I'd bet your ignition switch might need to be replaced soon......Sounds like she's giving you a warning shot across the bow like my '90 did.
