I got a guy with an '07 3500 with a bad miss and lots of smoke. I pulled the head and found that the #3 piston was gone... I mean gone... He wants to rebuild the engine, pistons bearings the whole deal. How economical is it to find a long block compared to building the bottom end himself, keeping in mind that inorder to use his block he's going the have to get it sleeved at the very least.
