OK, so I am going to be tinkering with my old IDI again here soon. Acctually I started a few months ago, but anyway.
I learned a few things from the Cummins world and one of them being "you cant buy an injector too big."
At least for the 1st gen Dodge Cummins with a VE (rotary style) IP.
Now my question is this, just how far can u back the fuel screw out from stock? I put mine in 3/4 turn, full turn being maxed, if I were to get some custom made EDM tips, can I turn the IP back enough to run them w/o TONS of smoke??
I ask cause I hope for a turbo in the future here. Being as I have my spare that'll work great on the IDI.
