Man, these things get toasty idling in the driveway with no fan, even with the hood up. But nothing's leaking and nothing blew up (yet), so I think all is well. Just gotta get that fan back on and I should be good to go

Yeah, the fan is going back on as soon as I can get it in a shop with the right tool. Right now i'm only driving it to and from work, about a mile each way. Not leaving town without a fan.

At some point during this "learning experience" a few bolts made their escape and others got mixed up. I ended up having to choose between holding my AC compressor in place correctly or my power steering pump.

It's been broken since I bought the truck. The AC system has pressure, but I'm 99% sure it's low on charge. The clutch kicks on and off rapidly, we added one can of R12 to the system for giggles and the clutch started staying engaged longer, but the shop couldn't find their R12 gauge so we didn't add any more than that.
