Pics Of Lightning From Our Last Storm

Here are some pics of the lightning that some local Bend residents took during the last thunderstorm we had. We had these storms for 3 nights in a row. I have some pics of the sunsets before the storm on my phone that I will add later.

Those are BEAUTIFUL! But possibly not if the bolts come down towards the animals that are fenced in, or even your house. Yep, that would be scary then.

I used to love how large and clear the lightning was when I lived at 6K+ in altitude in Wyoming. The storms were always so clear and wild. Man I miss being out there...

That last pic of the lightening verring off and striking that tree reminds me of an incident 30 years ago. Playing golf in a league after work, a storm was brewing up about 4-5 miles away, no lightening at the moment, but we were hurrying to finish, on the 7th hole the first guy up raised his club to tee off and BANG, lightening struck his club. Even with a Doctor in the foursome we could not revive him. End of story, no more comments on it. Hellva nice guy, still brings tears.
